Our beloved dog, Shadow passed away a little over a month ago. He was the most wonderful companion - in and out of the house. I am writing a post for him, because I never worked in my yard without Shadow by my side. If I dared to go outside without him, he would cry by the door, which is saying a lot because Shadow was almost always silent. He loved to parole the yard, sniffing and tracking down whatever he could. He loved to watch me work. He loved to roll in the grass. He loved to listen and watch. He was a happy dog who made all of us happy.
