Tougas Family Farm

I visited the Tougas Family Farm yesterday for a workshop on how to prune blueberry bushes.  I was delighted with this farm and resolved to go back during blueberry season with James and Jamie.  The farm is located in Northboro, just outside of Worcester, and it is settled in a beautiful, country setting.  The Tougas family bought the farm in the 1980's, and it is open to the public for pick-your-own blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, apples, cherries, peaches and pumpkins.  I met one of the sons, Andre, who showed us how to sharpen our tools.  One of his employees did the actual demostrating of blueberry pruning, but Andre was there to answer every question.  Nice guys, great farm.

While searching online for photos of the farm, I stumbled upon this blog - Diasphoto.com and found the loveliest pictures of couples who had there weddings on farms. Tougas Family Farm is in there!
